Account Manager

Good & Gold is looking for a full-time Account Manager to navigate the sinuous responsibilities of keeping both clients and coworkers satisfied, keeping the trains running on time, and ensuring the delivery of top-notch service. The ideal candidate is an uncannily talented communicator, capable of both finessing delicate relationships and inspiring incredible work.

The Account Manager will work as the chief liaison between clients and internal departments, overseeing the use of internal time and resources and presenting both product deliverables and campaign results to the client. The Account Manager is ultimately responsible for building and engaging clients’ audiences by developing and implementing effective strategies to move qualified leads through each client’s sales funnel.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategize and refine digital marketing campaigns for all clients

  • Manage the execution of projects from concept to delivery

  • Serve as the hub between internal departments and clients

  • Manage communication and set client timelines and expectations

  • Oversee internal teams with varying areas of expertise

  • Lead meetings to communicate marketing plans, campaign results, and project recommendations to both clients and internal leadership team

  • Work with clients to set appropriate and effective benchmarks and KPIs

  • Work with Digital Solutions team to interpret data and determine campaign efficiency

  • Keep leadership team updated on current client satisfaction and alert appropriate parties of issues or red flags

  • Contribute innovative strategies in an effort to exceed clients’ revenue goals and expectations

  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and develop new opportunities

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant coursework in communications, marketing, or business

  • At least 2-3 years of marketing or agency experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Direct experience with campaign management and lead generation tactics

  • Background in writing and marketing, showcasing the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of a wide range of businesses across multiple channels

  • Ability to oversee projects and solve problems creatively and effectively

  • Ability to communicate results to non-tech savvy individuals

  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Able to take your own initiative, own your work, but also work collaboratively with teammates across all departments

  • Understanding of fundamentals related to:

    • Running ad campaigns through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest

    • Technical and non-technical aspects of Search Engine Optimization

    • Email marketing best practices, including automations and integrations

    • Content marketing and lead generation

    • Web design and UX, with specific knowledge of Squarespace, Shopify, and WordPress

  • Proficiency with:

    • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) expertise

    • Project management practices and software

    • Common inbound and outbound marketing programs

    • Quickbooks or similar billing program

    • Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
