Carrie hinton Ritchie

Before launching Good & Gold, Carrie was the publisher of Portland Monthly and Portland Bride & Groom magazines, where she oversaw business operations, including print and digital advertising sales, marketing, events, community partnerships, and production. Through creative thinking and a keen understanding of the marketplace, she excelled in creating new revenue streams, resulting in continuous double-digit growth under her leadership. Previously, she worked for a handful of media companies, where she honed her skills over the course of 10 years and discovered a passion and verve for modern business and marketing. Her love for connecting inspiring clients with innovative ideas and dynamic audiences is surpassed only by her talent for herding cats.


Katie Vaughan

Katie grew up all over the world, traveling as an Army brat, before her family settled in Idaho. College brought her to Oregon, and she liked it here so much she moved to Portland in 2010. After working in admissions and finance at a culinary school, she knew her heart wasn't in it and left to pursue a new dream: writing. While working at the legendary Powell's City of Books, she started an editorial internship at Portland Monthly Magazine, and then worked as a freelance writer, crafting content for businesses and publications like Travel Portland, Portland Monthly, Tripping.com, and the Oregon Wine Touring Guide. At Good & Gold she wrangles client projects behind the scenes, shares the love on social media, and creates and edits copy for websites, newsletters, and more.

Spencer Soloway

Before launching Good & Gold, Spencer Soloway was the Senior Marketing Manager for MakerBot, a cutting-edge 3D Printing company in Brooklyn, NY. He has also consulted for companies such as Andela, Homer, and the American Cancer Gene Therapy Foundation. His innovative thinking and technical know-how has helped clients in different industries grow their leads, bookings, online sales, downloads, and subscriptions through customized tactics including E-Mail, SEM, SEO, Remarketing, Lifecycle, Referral, and more. His greatest passion is helping companies identify the best ways to reach the customers they want to acquire while strategizing and implementing clear, reachable paths for growth—a passion that is rivaled only by his love of pinball and gadgets.
